Mohammed blends experiences in diplomacy, international relations, business development, and public relations to create opportunities for international cooperation among countries and corporations.
Having served as the Energy and Infrastructure Advisor to the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Ghana for more than Seven years, Mohammed formed part of the Embassy’s economic and commercial sections that handled the full range of Korea-Ghana collaborations on economic and commercial issues.
While at the Embassy, Mohammed took part in high-level host government meetings including IMF and World Bank briefings while he arranged and met high-level government officials and captains of industries to foster relationships on behalf of the Korean government.
In his previous role as the African Representative for a UK-based consultancy firm (Mildwaters Consulting LLP), Mohammed traveled to Nigeria, Togo, Senegal, Cote de Voire, Liberia, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Mozambique, and Malawi, meeting Ministers and key industry players in the energy and mining space to market the company’s business portfolios and identifying opportunities for investment.
Mohammed has attended conferences in the UK, Ghana, and the Republic of Korea and networked with potential partners to discuss potential partnerships. At DeepGeo, Mohammed will lead the project development of the company’s African team to identify, develop, and implement nuclear power projects in Africa utilizing the company’s trust fund from the multinational repository.
